Checks can be made out to BME PTO.

Joining the PTO does NOT require you to volunteer at any of the PTO sponsored events! Of course, If you would like to offer help we will gladly accept it. :)

PTO meetings are a great way to hear about programs, events and school happenings.
Jamie Ann Kerestes is the Local Coordinator for Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) in Newark, Delaware and is asking for our help in finding find local host families for visiting high school students.
Placement season is around the corner (students will arrive in August for the '09-'10 school year and most host family placements occur before June.)
CIEE is happy to expose students to all aspects of US life. Host families can be young couples, (must be 25+) single parents with children, families with young children, retirees, families with teenagers, empty-nesters, and so on and so on… By hosting a CIEE student, a family can make a difference in a student's life by teaching them about American culture; in return the family will learn much about another culture.
For more information check http://www.ciee.org/hs/host/
If you are interested please contact Jamie.
