School Overview
Brick Mill Elementary, Home of the Dolphins, is a state-of-the-art facility filled with active learners and professional staff which opened in September 2003 as the newest elementary school in the district. Serving first through fifth graders, BME’s staff differentiates their lessons to provide challenging and engaging learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. Brick Mill promises to fulfill the educational needs of all the students and our goal is to develop our children into future model citizens for our community and the world. To do this, we challenge them to develop their social, emotional, and educational needs in every part of our school.
As part of Positive Behavior Support (PBS), we have high expectations for our students to be respectful, responsible, and ready when they are in our building. This will ensure that our children are developing the skills to become life-long learners. Art, music, technology, and physical education classes are integrated with the curriculum and offer challenging activities to promote excellence. Teachers collaborate with our librarian to develop interactive research assignments for students to challenge themselves to learn more about a specific topic. Our staff is active in providing different programs both during and after the school day to challenge our students to grow in areas of their interest. We welcome all visitors to schedule a tour and experience the positive, friendly, and energetic atmosphere that Brick Mill has to offer.
